Posted by Lee

Simple Steps in Videotaping a WeddingIt’s quite hard to refuse a friend, especially one who’s getting married. But what is shocking is if the favor they will ask of you is to take part in their wedding celebration by being the one videotaping the whole thing. Now that is one hell of a favor to ask from you if you’re not really an actual video photographer but you can pull it off mate. With a little knowledge and background you’ll know what to do and you’ll not be embarrassing you in the long run.

What you need to know is that, your friend, whoever he is, knows that you have the talent when it comes to taking videos. He will not approach you with this task if he thinks you’re not going to be good, it’s his wedding and he will definitely want it to be special. Video records stay forever so your friend trusts you with something big here and he does that because he knows you can pull it off.

The thing is. You don’t have to learn from school or take a course to be efficient in taking videos. Lots of today’s cameras are point and shoot ready already so you do just that. Just read the manual and you’ll be fine. The stronger the camera, the easier your task, what you need to do later on is to find the right angle, find the right light and find the best place to put yourself into.

Also you will need to take thing things with you:

  • Video camera
  • Extra batteries

  • Extra Video cameras
  • Extension power chord

How to Keep Your Relationship Strong

Posted by Lee

How to Keep your Relationship StrongBeing in a relationship can be frustrating at times. Keeping your partner in line, making sure your girlfriend or boyfriend doesn't do anything funny, just making sure you know each other’s every movement. Well that is what’s happening in today’s world anyway. You just look away for a bit and your partner is gone and went chasing other suits. But is that what you really need in a relationship? Let me tell you now, that it is not worth it. If you do get into a relationship make sure that you get into one that won’t break your head in worry. Where can you find that relationship? Well that is where I can’t be of help.

Still we can suggest to you some techniques of what kind of guy or girl you should try and date with. Someone who, for example, have been raised in an intact family; researches shows that people who were raised by both their mother and father knows how to take care of relationships really well. Maybe it’s because that they see in their homes that being true to their vows, their parents stuck together through thick and thin. That kind of attitude will rub in to these lucky children.

Another thing we can suggest is you find someone who is not secretive, someone whose life, even though boring, is an open book. Someone who, if ever he went out in the dead of the night to party can tell you about it, someone who trusts you with just about everything and tells you even the worse of what he does so that you will not be left out in all the happenings in his life. That way you’ll know that your partner does not keeps secrets from you and in doing so your partner will teach you that same attitude as well.

Keeping a relationship intact revolves around both parties being honest and faithful. If you both have those qualities, then your relationship is for keeps.

Practice to Be a Better Person At Home

Posted by Lee

Practice to Be a Better Person At HomeWe all know how to give an advice, on how other people should handle their problems. It’s easy to say how we should act when we encounter trails, but the truth is, it’s difficult when we are the one facing it. We let other people see what they want to see, at the office, in the church, but we act differently when we are in our home. Why is that?

Our home is where we can be ourselves. In our home, we have the tendency to relax our beliefs. It is not the right thing to do but we all do it.  Maybe it’s because of the fact that we consider at home our comfort zone, a safe place. We can express what we feel without other people criticizing everything that we go. We are not getting paid, thus, we think that we should not treat others as we would in the outside world. But what we all should really work on is to be a better person when we are at home. The workplace, church, and other places will just follow.

We judge other people of being hypocrites but we are all equally guilty. Professional life is important but what matters the most when life is all over is the person we are, our personal life. It’s not about fulfilling the needs of others but the person close to you most. It’s easier said than done but we should put more effort on our personal lives.

Be the best person you can be at home and you will carry out these traits at the office. We have to grow first from the inside and in our home. Learn how to handle problems, work out on our differences, and with the right guidance of the people who cares for us. And you will see, whatever the outside world will put on us, we can definitely face it. Being strong with the right conviction can only be given by those people at our home.

When you think about it, you can change your job and choose another career path when you want to. But we only have one home, we only have one family. Think about this and you’ll realize which is much important.

When you have the opportunity in hiring someone, choose the one who values his family more than his career. Give importance to value and character. These kinds of people will likely to overcome any obstacles and finding solutions to their problems in the company.

Home is the primary place where we grow as an individual.

Again, it’s not an easy thing t do. Our home is not the place to drop our guard. Let other people be a witness that you practice what you preach and influence them for good instead of proving them that they are right. Let's show others how to not only make a living, but also make a life. Give value to your home and you will be successful in your professional life. Help others be successful too.

Clarity of Diamonds

Posted by Lee

One of the 4 Cs you need to know about diamonds is its clarity. It is important to know about the diamond clarity because it is one aspect in determining the quality of the stone.  You have to learn how to grade a diamond to avoid being scammed. Actually, it’s not that difficult how to grade the clarity of the diamond.

Clarity of DiamondsThere are two important things you need to learn: Diamonds with visual inclusions and blemishes, and those that are ‘eye clean’ meaning that there are no inclusions or blemishes that can be seen with the naked eye. After determine that, you can break it down to subcategories.

The assumption that a diamond’s quality refers to how clear it is when you look at it is wrong. Clarity of a diamond actually refers to the presence of identifying characteristics or imperfections on and within the diamond.

The best diamonds, of course get a grade of FL or IF – Flawless or Internally Flawless – meaning that it is completely perfect. A grade of I-1, I-2 or I-3 means that the diamond is imperfect, with a grade of I-3 being the worst and with imperfections that can be seen by just looking at a diamond with your naked eye. Grade I-3 diamonds must be avoided.

Other grades are VVS1 and VVS2, which means that the diamond is very, very slightly imperfect; VS1 and VS2, meaning the diamond is very slightly imperfect; SI-1 and SI-2, which means that the diamond is slightly imperfect.

Durability of a Diamond

Posted by Lee

Durability of a DiamondIt is no secret that diamond is the hardest substance known to man. Other’s stones are durable as well but only a diamond can cut another diamond.

Diamonds and other gemstones are measured by the Mohs scale. It is rated from 10 as the hardest down to 1 softest. When a stone is rated 9 or 10, it simply means that it is durable and will not easily get scratched. You much consider this factor when buying your jewelry because they can withstand changes in elements and they will look beautiful for a long time. Are you curious what it the softest element? It’s talc. It has a Mohs hardness of 1 and it can be scratched just by using your own fingernail.

The most abundant gem mineral is quartz and when it comes to its durability, it takes 7 and above in the Mohs scale. Rubies and sapphires are nearly as hard as diamonds, with a scale of 9 on the Moh’s scale.

One of the misconceptions about diamonds is that they are indestructible. That is of course not true even though they are very very hard. Pliny the Elder in his Natural History stated that “these stones are tested upon the anvil, and will resist the blow to such an extent as to make the iron rebound and the very anvil split asunder.” But if you try that, you will end up shattering the diamond rather than the anvil!

A lot of diamonds are cut in order to prevent nicks, scratches and breaks. Most corners on angular diamonds are rounded, with the exception of Princess cut, which is a square-cut diamond with pronounced corners. These angular corners could accidentally be knocked against a surface and they may chip or scratch.

It is important that you should get a jewelry case and keep it there when you’re not wearing your jewelry. Make sure there are individual boxes for each of your pieces and bring it to a jeweler from time to time to make sure that your diamond is not loose. If you want to last, then you should take care of it well.
